Off the Rock, headed to Fairbanks

In the morning Emmy and I head to Fairbanks for a few days.  I am taking my oral comprehensive exams.  Then I fly to Anchorage for a conference and leave Emmy with Jeremy for a few days before we all meet back up here.  It will be good for the two of them to get caught up - Emmy has missed her Daddy terribly.  Today Paty (Emmy's new daycare lady) asked her "Are you going to fly on a plane?"  "Are you going to see your Daddy?"  And Emmy thought Jeremy was here, so she got all excited, only to be let down by the fact it was just me picking her up...

In other news, "Toe Man" still stands, due to our recent cooler, drier weather.
