Dave says, "This is not a vacation, it's an adventure!"
This morning it must have been about 50 below at the house. Very chilly, but we are staying warm. This will be my last post for a few days, since tomorrow morning first thing we are driving out of here down to Anchorage where we will stay with Alberta and John for the night. Emmy and I fly down to Kodiak the next morning and Jeremy and Dave take the Ferry over on Saturday. Let's hope for calm seas!

Haha, you guys should have really joined the 40-below club and taken your pics in front of the UAF sign in your bathing suits! (haha)
I would have, only...I didn't want Jeremy's Dad to see me in my bikini! Yeah, that's the reason...
WOW...Looks a little chilly!

Too cool. I'm jealous - I wish it got to even 20 below in Kodiak. And negative 40 on the nose would've been even cooler because it's the same temperature in celcius and in farenheit. But in bathing suits would've been even cooler. piugta
Hello! Have a safe trip you guys! Let us know when you make it to Alberta's and John's. hugs

I don't understand. How can it be that cold? How can you stand outside in it? Doesn't life stop existing at some point, Jesus returns and we all have a party? Isn't that in the Bible? I have to go look that up.
